We restore dignity and health through compassionate outreach and community empowerment.
In 2022, I was hospitalized with a life-threatening condition. While receiving treatment, I witnessed the deep struggles of other patients—those living with chronic illnesses who couldn’t afford proper care, nutrition, or even basic necessities like food, rent, or school fees for their children. Many remained in the hospital not because they were still sick, but because they couldn’t pay their bills. Others were forced to abandon treatment halfway. I saw elderly patients relying on herbs, not by choice, but because they lacked medical cover or family support.
That experience changed me. It stirred a deep passion within me to be part of the solution—to bring hope and dignity to those forgotten in their pain. Zoe Life Foundation was born from that burden, as a way to reach out with compassion, meet critical needs, and advocate for better health, support, and opportunity for our communities—starting with the very place that inspired it all.
Through compassion-driven initiatives, we meet practical needs, promote dignity, and inspire lasting change in the lives of those we serve.

We provide essential items and emotional support to patients in need, especially those with chronic illnesses and financial challenges.

We raise awareness in schools and communities about hygiene, menstruation, and proper healthcare practices through workshops and campaigns.

We partner with hospitals and local organizations to expand our reach, innovate community projects, and grow into a foundation for greater impact.
Zoe Life Foundation is a community-based initiative born from personal pain and transformed into purposeful action. After a life-threatening illness and an extended hospital stay in 2022, our founder, Miss Ruth Wairimu, witnessed firsthand the deep challenges patients face — from lack of medical care and delayed treatment to the absence of basic needs like food, clothing, and sanitary products. This experience ignited a passion to become a solution for the most vulnerable in our society.
Established in June 2023, Zoe Life Foundation is committed to restoring hope and dignity to underserved communities. We carry out hospital visits, donate essential items, support patients with chronic conditions, and run menstrual hygiene campaigns in schools. Our work is rooted in compassion and aims to bridge the healthcare, education, and social welfare gaps in Nakuru County and beyond. Together with local partners, we envision a future where no one is left behind — physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
